Emma Elliot Smith, Undergraduate Lab Assistant
University of California, Santa Cruz
Emma is an undergraduate with a passion for reading, dancing, and playing old-fashioned video games. She is majoring in biology with a hopeful minor in geology/earth science at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Emma joined the Tinker/Estes lab in Fall 2010 as a sophomore, and is currently working as a lab assistant. She is hoping to conduct an honors thesis on some aspect of sea otter ecology and/or behavior, but hasn't settled on a project as of yet.
